Food and More Food!!

SY and hubby came to spore 2 weeks ago and it's been an adventure following the 2 on their quest for food food and more food! Oh yes, and lots and lots of shopping too! Fortunately, I am not involved in the latter, otherwise I would have given up half way! ahhahaa...

Here are some pics from our dinner @ Coudoroy and Finch... suggested by the couple. They put all sporeans to shame on their knowledge of food here man.. she has a list of famous eateries that most singaporeans didn't even know they exist!


SY looking really excited before her food even arrives! The atmosphere in the restaurant is really nice, it's something like Jamie Oliver's kitchen on TV! I kid you not!


Aw... K's looking really tired after work on Friday... poor thing..


But still can smile nicely for a picture with me! It's apparent who's more "alive" at this stage!


ROOT BEER FLOAT!! The only thing that can lift K's spirits! Yes, within a few minutes, the glass is empty! Why am I not surprised? hehehee..Look at that satisfied face! That's before the main meal arrives!


Our entree.. don't ask me the name man, but I know it's bread with fried onions and spices on top.. not too bad, the hungry couple couldn't wait to put their tastebud into action! =)

My goulash! It's beef tenderloins with onions and gravy, and mashed potatoes and baby corns as sides... pretty good!


K's fillet... topped with a huge mushroom!! Yummy! According to him, it's one of those better steaks he has tasted so far! Just might be a bit too small for him...


Desserts!!! from left to right...
- orangy dessert over some mousse thingy.. alright.. I can't remember the name.. but hey it looks good right?! hehee
- 3 types of tiramisu, orange, cuppaccino and something else.. ohh I can't remember again! argh!
- dessert for me, vanilla bean ice cream over oven baked apple crumbles!!! YUMMY! This I remembered!!

Mad Mad Mad...

Don't know why I suddenly have this urge to update my blog after such a long long time... maybe am getting kinda bored sitting around doing nothing, or maybe I have been updating friendster too often and have neglected this special site of mine..

Okay okay.. honestly, it's because I get these constand complaints, opps, I mean feedback that I have not been updating my webbie... yeah, you know who you are.. the eat all day and never ever get fat woman...

well, another set of pictures taken a few weeks back when my friends are in town to attend their friends wedding here... we went out for dinners and desserts (what else!) and end up taking these pictures...

1st Anniversary

Shrooms! That's what they call this at Outback! Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside! The sauce is a little savourish and creamy at the same time...

These creatures are from the snails family without shells! They are called "Angel Fish" coz' they have an extra pair of wings! Guess what, they are neighbours to the ever adorable polar bears too! Brrr...

Seahorse with colourful seaweed lookalike fins!

These turtles are huge! There are about 10 of them swimming outside the man-made pond just before the entrance to underwater world! Yeap, according to the notice, they BITE! Yikes!

ahh... another day gone by

another day another nite...got off work early... sent my sis to a wedding party and took her car and drove to suntec.. waited for K and ate sizzlers until we were both nearly crashing the chairs with our extra weight! heheee..

can't wait for the weekend to come man...
saturday am - contracter coming to the house to check the electricity points and to touch up on the faded paint
saturday pm - church and dinner.. still have not decide yet.. maybe I should book movies for this saturday.. haven't been watching movies for ages.. probably the one with ewan mcgregor... the guy's cute man... hehee..

watched mona lisa smile last weekend... must say it's a pretty good movie... very challenging movie about how woman would choose family over career.. end of the day, it's which side you hold most dearest to your heart and whether you are brave enough to face the consequences...

sunday - laze laze laze around in bed... thinking of it makes me sleepy now...
sunday pm - meet SY and hubby for dinner followed by dessert! better wear extra loose clothings!

patchy.. this is dedicated to you..

Here I am again... back to the normal routine work work and work.. wonder when it will ever stop? Are we going to slave for another 40 yrs? To earn money for myself and then for my car and then for my house and then for my kids, this is assuming I have a husband handy who can also slave for me.. hahaha..

Everyone is so stress... my goodness, gone are the good old days when people can get home at 5:30pm, spend some time with their kids, have a jog in the park and to cook a decent meal full of vitamins? Most of us are sacrificing time for money and more money... not that I am complaining lar, earn more money can buy more things man.. although I don't buy in big quantity, but I do sometimes buy big ticket items, which can be quite scary, but it's just once in a blue moon kinda thing.. and normally these things can last me for a lifetime, before the leather straps break that is...

My only comfort after a hard day's work? patchy and patchy.. incidently, I have 2 on my bed and they are my constand companion every nite... and not forgeting the ever comforting voice of the other half of mine... better say it first, later not even a ring later... hehee... who's patchy? They are always there.. soft and huggy... my other favourite apart from my other half and eeyore... ;)

Hong Kong 2005!!

Just got back from my workshop in Hong Kong, here are some of the pics taken amid the crazy schedule :-

6:20am - wake up
7am - out of the room and time for breakkie
7:40am - out of the hotel and off to MTR station from HK to Kowloon - walk and walk and walk and ....
8:30am - workshop starts
12pm - break for lunch - sandwich provided
1:15pm - back to work again
5:30 - end of workshop and travel back to HK island for more meetings!
6pm - start of the next meeting
7:30pm - end of meeting and hunger strikes and shopping starts!
11pm - back to the hotel and brain DEAD!

Amazing hotel we stayed in... service was fabulous! For the amount of money we paid, we deserve every bit of it! hahaaa.. sound like a singaporean man..
